Gifts and Donations

The Woodstock Public Library is a registered charity under the Income Tax Act. Donations you make to Canadian registered charities may help reduce your income tax. To donate to the Library, please make checks payable to the Woodstock Public Library. An official tax receipt will be issued for all donations over $20. To make a donation on-line, go to

 Material Donations

Please Note: The library is unable to accept donations of materials during the COVID-19 pandemic. Please keept your donations at home for now, and thank you for thinking of us!
Gently used books, DVDs and books on CD can be donated to the Library. All items will be viewed against the Materials Selection Policy and those that fit the policy will be added to the Library collection. Any remaining donations will be included in the Annual Book Sale put on by the Friends of the Library, the proceeds of which will benefit Library programming.
