The Friends of Woodstock Public Library are students, career people, and retirees with one thing in common: they love the library and promote and support its services. Funds raised from book sales and other initiatives are donated back to the library to ensure value-added services and programs are available to our community.
What do 'Friends' do?
Since their founding in 1999, the 'Friends' have raised money for:
Author and music events
Outreach tent
Preservation Station equipment
Computers in the children's area
A projection screen for the meeting room
A framed portrait of a beloved former Chief Librarian (Lee Bennett)
The library gardens
Wooden chairs throughout the library
