Renewing materials begins by logging in to your account and viewing the items you have Checked Out. Your Checked Out list will show what material you have out and when each item is due. You may select which item(s) you wish to renew by clicking in the check box and selecting the Renew button in the blue banner at the bottom of the screen, or by clicking the Renew button to the right of a single title you wish to renew. Once renewed, you will see the updated due dates. A grey box will appear at the bottom of your screen after you click the renew button. If there are any item(s) that cannot be renewed, the grey box will indicate how many were unsuccessful. Clicking on the "more information" link in the box will bring up a list of items that could not be renewed.
Renew By Phone
Customers may renew their materials by phone during regular business hours. Phone the Library at 519-539-4801 and ask to speak to the Circulation Desk. Please note that requests to renew items left on the answering machine will not be accepted.
Renew at a Service Desk
Customers may ask at any of the Service Desks to review their account and renew any items at that time. Please do not leave phone messages for items to be renewed as these are not addressed after hours - call back again during library hours for assistance.
