Mango Languages

Mango is a language learning application with courses in over 70 languages, including English Language Learning courses from 20 languages.

The courses are interactive and cover pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary.

There is no limit to the use of Mango Languages.

You can use Mango using a browser such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari, or by downloading the app. To download the app, you will need to create an account using an internet browser first.

Getting Started

You will need:

• A valid WPL library card
• The Mango app downloaded on your device of choice, or internet access on your personal computer.
• To create an account with your email address and a password if you wish to track your progress.

Using at Computer

From your desktop computer, open a browser such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari and click on Mango Languages.

When you are at the Library, you can choose to Log In with your account information or use Mango as a Guest. If you are off site, you will be prompted to enter your library card number.

Create an Account

• Create an account using your email address and your own password (you may need to select a language first, but you can change this selection at any time once registration is complete)
• Agree to the terms and conditions
• Enter your library card number

By creating an account and logging into your account each time you use Mango Languages, you can keep track of your progress.

Accessibility Report

An accessibility report for Mango Languages was conducted in 2021. The results of that assessment show that testers encountered moderate accessibility barriers, including unlabeled or mislabeled controls and inconsistent navigation. The website was found to be the most accessible option, with significant changes made which benefit screen-reader users. It is likely that updates to the platform have occurred since this testing.
